Full title:
Pérez v. Fernández de Córdoba on the printing of instrumental music for the Indies

Full title original language:
Pleito para la impresión de libros corales con destino a las Indias

Abstract:
Having received an exclusive ten year privilege to print music, Alonso Pérez faced a tough competitor, the printer Fernández de Córdoba, who tried to persuade the Council of Indies of the need to deadlock the privilege. In a settlement out of court, they both agreed to constitute a joint venture to exploit that concession.
