We order them to do this everywhere in their principalities,
regions, cities, dominions and territories - if they wish to
avoid incurring Our and the Empire's severe displeasure and
punishment, as well as a fine consisting of 10 marks of
full-weight gold, which anyone who - in defiance of this Our
privilege - were to print, offer for sale, or sell these books,
would be obliged to pay immediately for each such instance:
half of the sum to Our Imperial Treasury, the other half
to the said Doctor Eucharius. In proof of which, this letter is
issued in Our and the Empire's City of Cologne on
the twenty-fourth day of the month September, AD 1512; in the
27th year of Our Reign in the Roman Empire,
And the 23rd year of Our Reign in Hungary.

on behalf of the King,                  At the personal behest
by his own hand.                        of the Emperor, at his court.
