19) The above provisions will enter into force the first of January 1846, and provisionally fixed for a period of two years.
20) Members undertake to, in good faith, as soon as they have decided to not publish a Translation, of a Work presented for translation by them, to announce this to their fellow members through the List of Works in Translation, monthly issued by SCHLEIJER AND SON.
21) The Committee is authorized, when it should appear that this obligation may give rise, for those who are not Members, to act to the detriment of Members, to propose measures in this regard, or take them immediately, if they could serve to promote the aims of the Association in general, or of this Agreement in particular, and uphold justice and compensation of damages for the plaintiff claiming damages.

Thus established at the Extraordinary General Meeting, held on the 17th of November 1845.

19) Bovenstaande bepalingen zullen in werking treden den eersten Januarij 1846, en worden voorloopig voor den tijd van twee jaren vastgesteld.
20) De Leden verbinden zich ter goeder trouw, om, zoodra zij besloten hebben van een door hen ter Vertaling vertoond Werk, geene Vertaling in het licht te geven, dit ter kennisse van hunne Medeleden te brengen, door middel van de maandelijks bij C.L. SCHLEIJER EN ZOON uitgegeven wordende Lijst van ter Vertaling aangekondigde Werken.
21) Het Bestuur is gemagtigd, om, wanneer het mogt blijken, dat deze verbindtenis aan de zoodanigen, die geen Leden zijn, aanleiding geven mogt ten nadeele der Leden te handelen, dienaangaande zoodanige maatregelen voor te stellen, of reeds dadelijk te nemen, als ter bevordering van het beoogde doel der Vereeniging in het algemeen of van deze overeenkomst in het bijzonder, en tot handhaving van regt en vergoeding van schade der verongelijkte partij zouden kunnen strekken.

Aldus vastgesteld op de Buitengewone Algemeene Vergadering, gehouden den 17 November 1845.
