since the law on unauthorised reprinting is intended
to protect only such activity of an author as is
permitted [by the authorities].*
      Similarly, publishing right cannot be claimed
for a work which is merely a forbidden unauthorised
copy of another work.**
      However, if the illegal quality of the work
ceases, this also removes the grounds for not
according it a publishing right.***
