Upon the Memorial of Andrew Law of Cheshire in
Newhaven County shewing to this Assembly that he
hath with great Trouble & Expence prepared for the
Press & procured to be engraved & imprinted a Collec-
tion of the best & most approved Tunes & Anthems
for the Promotion of Psalmody, containing the follow-
ing Tunes, Viz. Aynhoc, Balldoc, Blendon, Bunker Hill,
Cheshire, Denbigh, Denmark, Easter, Elstow, Falmouth,
Farmington, Freedom, Greenwich, Judgement, Keen,
Leeds, Leicester, Loughborough, Middletown, Milford,
Northhampton, Ode on Spring, Providence, Psalm
21, 22, 25, 32, 46, 115, 122, 136, 148, Rugby,
Salem, Southington, Springfield, Trumpet, Wallingford,
Willingborough, Waybridge, Weathersfield, & Worcester
& sundry Anthems beginning with the following
words respectively viz.
Arise, Shine Oh Zion &c.
If the Lord himself &c.
I said I will take heed &c.
Oh Clap your hands &c.
Oh Lord, our Governor &c.
Oh Lord, God of Israel &c.
O Sing unto the Lord &c.
Praise the Lord O my Soul &c.
The Beauty of Israel is slain &c.
as by said Collection printed & published under the
said Memorialist's Name may fully appear -
Humbly praying this Assembly to grant the said Me-
morialist an exclusive Patent for imprinting & vend-
ing the said Tunes & Anthems for the Term of five
years next ensuing, as pr. Memorial on file -
Resolved by this Assembly that the said Memorialist
have & free & full Liberty & License is hereby
granted [XXX] for the sole printing, publishing &
vending the several Tunes & Anthems abovementioned
to the said Memorialist, his Heirs, Executors, Administra-
