BULLETIN OF ACTS, ORDERS AND DECREES
OF THE
UNITED NETHERLANDS.

(No. 1) Decree of the 18th of December 1813, No. 5, relating to the establishing of a BULLETIN OF ACTS, ORDERS AND DECREES OF THE UNITED NETHERLANDS.

We WILLIAM I, by the grace of God, Prince of Orange-Nassau, Sovereign of the United Netherlands, etc., etc., etc.
Heard the recommendation of our Commissioner-General of the Interior;
Have decided and decreed:
Art. 1. There will, by order of the Government, at the expense, and for the benefit, of these Lands, be issued a BULLETIN OF ACTS, ORDERS AND DECREES OF THE UNITED NETHERLANDS, starting from 1st January 1814.
2. In the Bulletin will only be published all Acts, promulgations, and Official Publications, and furthermore such Decrees of the Sovereign, of which the publication is deemed necessary or useful.
3. The entering of these documents in the Bulletin is taken to be that publication, and as replacement of the previously customary sending of printed copies; for which reason, all Municipalities will be obliged to supply themselves therewith, at their own expense.
4. The Bulletin will be printed in octavo, and will be issued, at no fixed time, in such a manner as the subject matter available for it will demand.
5. None of the aforesaid documents may be included in any newspaper or made public before they have been entered in the Bulletin.

VEREENIGDE NEDERLANDEN.

(No. 1.) Besluit van den 18den December 1813, no. 5, betrekkelijk de daarstelling van een STAATSBLAD DER VEREENIGDE NEDERLANDEN.

Wij WILLEM, bij de gratie GODS, Prince van Oranje-Nassau, Souverein Vorst der Vereenigde Nederlanden, enz., enz, enz.;
Gehoord de voordragt van onzen Commissaris-generaal voor de Binnenlandsche zaken;
Hebben besloten en besluiten.
Art. 1. Er zal, van gouvernements wege, ten koste en ten behoeve van den Lande, een STAATSBLAD DER VEREENIGDE NEDERLANDEN worden uitgegeven, te beginnen met den 1sten Januarij 1814.
2. In het Staatsblad zullen alleenlijk geplaatst worden alle wetten, proclamatien, publicatien en voorts zoodanige besluiten van den SOUVEREIN, als waarvan de publiekmaking noodig of nuttig wordt geoordeeld.
3. De insertie dezer stukken in het Staatsblad wordt beschouwd als derzelver publicatie, en als vervangende de bevorens gebruikelijke toezending van gedrukte exemplaren; zullende alle Gemeente-besturen, uit dien hoofde, verpligt zijn, zich van hetzelve, ten hunnen koste, te voorzien.
4. Het Staatsblad zal in octavo worden gedrukt, en, zonder vaste tijdsbepaling, worden uitgegeven, in diervoege als de stoffe, daartoe voorhanden, zal vorderen.
5. Geen der voorz. stukken zal in eenig nieuwspapier opgenomen of publiek gemaakt mogen worden, voor dat hetzelve in het Staatsblad is geinsereerd geweest.
