DECREE, declaring that there will be published a Netherlands Government Gazette by order of the Government.

Of the 18th of December 1813.

(BULLETIN OF ACTS AND DECREES, Annex to 1813. No. 1)

We WILLIAM I, by the grace of God, Prince of Orange-Nassau, Sovereign of the United Netherlands, etc., etc., etc.
Heard the recommendation of our Commissioner-General of the Interior;
Have decided and decreed:
Art. 1. There will, by order of the Government, at the expense, and to the benefit, of the Lands, be issued a Netherlands Bulletin of Acts, Orders and Decrees, starting from 1st January 1814.
2. With absolute exclusion of all private documents, news items, and advertisements, are placed in the Bulletin:
1st. All decisions, appointments and notifications of the ministers and all national Governing Bodies and officials, civil and judicial, which they wish to notify the public of.
2nd. All Advertisements and Notices of these Governing Bodies and persons.
3rd. Such diplomatic documents, official messages, and further reports as the government wishes to have notified.
4th. Notices and advertisements of departmental and local governments and officials, in so far as they wish the placing thereof on payment of the ordinary advertising money.
3. The Bulletin of Acts, Orders and Decrees will be printed in folio, and issued

BESLUIT, houdende, dat er van gouvernementswege een' Nederlandsche-Staats-Courant zal
worden uitgegeven.
Van den 18 December 1813.

Wij WILLEM, bij de gratie GODS, Prinse van Oranje-Nassau, Souverein Vorst der vereenigde Nederlanden, enz. enz. enz.
Gehoord de voordragt van Onzen Commissaris-generaal voor de binnenlandsche zaken;
Hebben besloten en besluiten:
Art. 1. Er zal, van gouvernementswege, ten kosten en ten behoeven van den Lande, eene Nederlandsche Staats-Courant worden uitgegeven, te beginnen met den 1sten Januarij 1814.
2. Met volstrekte uitsluiting van alle particuliere stukken, nieuws-tijdingen en advertissementen, worden in de Staats-courant geplaatst:
1e. Alle besluiten, benoemingen en aanschrijvingen van de ministers en van alle nationale kollegien en ambtenaren, civiele en justitiele, welke dezelven aan het publiek willen mededeelen.
2e. Alle Advertissementen en annonces van dezelve kollegien en personen.
3e. Zoodanige diplomatieke stukken, officiele tijdingen en verdere berigten, als het gouvernement wil hebben medegedeeld.
4e. Annonces en advertissementen van departementale en plaatselijke besturen en ambtenaren, voor zoo verre die de plaatsing daarvan, tegen betaling van het gewone advertentie-geld, mogten verlangen.
3. De Staats-Courant wordt in folio gedrukt en dagelijks
